Dash Cam fitting Terms & Conditions

By booking your service you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this contract.

A pre service call is required before confirming the booking.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your installation appointment. This will then be deducted from the total payable,  once the service is completed, on the day.

Photos

Photos will be required to help prepare for the installation.

Fitting information

Your reverse camera installation will need to be connected to a front dash cam, the car’s existing multimedia screen, aftermarket multimedia system, or an additional screen.

The installation of the reverse camera will require a hole to be drilled through the car’s body unless stated otherwise. This is a permanent change to your vehicle, so by accepting these terms and conditions you are giving ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services permission to make this permanent change to your vehicle.

Appointment Cancellations

If a scheduled service is cancelled, your deposit will not be refunded. However, if you reschedule the appointment (within a reasonable timeframe determined by ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services, you will not need to pay another deposit.

Appointment timings

Your service will have an approximate time. The appointment is for installation and demo of the newly fitted device. If this does exceed the appointment time, additional charges may be applicable.

I prefer not to leave until the car is at a standard representative of the ACAMADI quality, however timescales are important; so if the service needs a lot more attention, you will be notified whether it can be done and if there are additional charges.

Payment

Payment for your service can be paid in advance.

Payment must be paid once the service is complete, on the day. If you require an invoice, feel free to ask and you will receive an invoice for your service.

If payment is not made within a the timescale agreed, then a charge of £10 will be added to the invoice.

Further charges are applicable.

Car Parks

If you want your service to take place in any car park, please make sure you have  permission from the parking authorities before the day of the service. This also included payable car parks. If the service is to take place in a payable car park, you will need to pay for both vehicles parking charges.

Weather Conditions

If in extreme weather, Winds exceeding 30miles an hour, heavy rain, or below 0 degrees Celsius, your service may have to be rescheduled for safety and prevent any damage. 

In mild weather, a gazebo may need to be erected to help prevent the car’s interior wet;  or in extremely hot weather. This will require the car/cars to be moved under the gazebo by you or your representative. 

Cancellations

If you cancel your appointment on the day, a cancellation fee of £60 (minimum) is applicable. If your deposit is more than the cancellation fee, this will replace the cancellation fee (as stated above, deposits are non-refundable).

Road Risk

ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Service representatives will not move your vehicle for insurance purposes.

I am not liable for any pre-existing issues with the vehicle, as stated in the inspection before the service commences. Any pre-existing issues must be declared before booking the service and before the service commences.

The ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services representative reserves the right to cancel the service if the pre-existing issue has not been declared or will risk their safety as well as yours; if it cannot be resolved before the service commences.

Health & Safety

Representatives of ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services are expected to keep the area safe for themselves, our clients and third parties, so we do have a standard of working as well as liability insurance.

I do ask that at no time, unless asked by myself to start the vehicle or place the key in the ignition to prevent any technical issues in the car.

So we may ask to have the area of work made safe by you, are client before work begins. If you have anything in the vehicle that may harm the ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services representative, please remove this from the vehicle before the service begins. 

This also applies to health issues such as used tissues or any toxic chemicals or instrumentation.

The ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services representative reserves the right to cancel the service if their safety is at risk, if it cannot be resolved before the service commences.

Respect

ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing services is driven by perfection, not only in the quality of work, but also in the way that we work. In turn, we expect to be treated with respect. If anyone representing ACAMADI Valeting & Detailing Services is verbally or physically abused by any client, we reserve the right to terminate the service there and then.

This will also result in your custom being refused in the future.

Disclaimers

Your car manufacturer may have warranties that may be invalidated when having a dash cam or reverse camera so please check with the manufacturer before getting the unit fitted.
